The Walk

Rebeca finds inspiration in women with great character, and Arabian women no doubt fit this category. This piece is one of Rebeca’s many creations of her Divas Series, portraying a group of 6 Arabian women who are wearing colourful clothing, some carrying food baskets and others carrying pots on their heads. Their backs remain turned to maintain an illusion of mystery in this artwork and they walk in unison effectively embodying that sense of togetherness which Arabian women perceive in their cultures.
